Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
DevPilot Labs ("we", "us") builds DevPilot, a software-development tool. This policy explains what information we collect through devpilotlabs.xyz and the DevPilot product, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact information. If you email us or join the waitlist, we keep your email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Code and task context. When you use DevPilot, the parts of your repository needed to complete a task are processed to produce results. DevPilot runs against your local checkout and does not upload your full repository to our servers.
- Usage data. Basic, non-identifying product diagnostics such as error reports and feature usage counts, which you can turn off.
How we use information
We use information only to operate and improve DevPilot, respond to you, and manage early access. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your code to train AI models.
Service providers
DevPilot uses Anthropic's Claude API to process task context. Data sent to the API is handled under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not permit training on API inputs or outputs by default. We may use standard providers for email and hosting.
Retention
We keep waitlist and contact information until you ask us to delete it. Task context is retained only as long as needed to complete the task, unless you choose to save project history.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing founder@devpilotlabs.xyz.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and notify waitlist members by email.
